Locate the inhale and exhale dials on either side of your MyLungBuddy™:
- The exhale dial ranges from 1 to 8:
- The inhale dial ranges from A to H:
For beginners, we recommend starting at the lightest settings (1 for exhale and A for inhale). Gradually increase the resistance as your lung strength improves.
2. Get Ready to Train
- Sit or stand upright in a comfortable position.
- Place the mouthpiece in your mouth and gently bite down to ensure a firm seal.
- Use the provided nose clip (optional) to prevent nasal breathing and focus the workout on your lungs.
3. Perform Your Breathing Exercise
- Take deep, slow breaths through the mouthpiece, inhaling and exhaling fully.
- Complete 30 breaths (1 inhale + 1 exhale = 1 breath) per session.
- For best results, train twice daily—morning and evening are ideal.
